Version 2.2.0 of F5Data is now available!

This version adds a couple new features:

MesoAnalysis - Under the drop down to choose your model, you will now find MesoAnalysis. This is an upper air (and surface) "observation" utilizing the RUC upper air data for the time that most closely matches 'now', which is the RUC 01 hour forecast, and then we take the actual surface observations and augment the surface data with the real surface conditions, and then re-calculate all parameters (parcel trace, etc.) based off of this updated information. The result gives you CAPE, CIN, winds, etc. that are our best guess as to what is actually happening throughout the atmosphere right now. This product is similar to the SPC's MesoAnalysis product.

HD NEXRAD - HD NEXRAD is a new radar product we have developed from the ground up, which takes all National NEXRAD radar sites and makes a large composite image, and then using our MesoAnalysis data, determines the precipitation type over any given area, and colorizes the returns over those areas appropriately so you can see if the precipitation falling is snow, a mix or rain. The radar is 'lightly' smoothed, and also almost 2x the resolution of the old radar, which is still available to Free customers.
